the sumner family: Abby is 9 months and Noah is 2 1/2 years

Here's a few pictures over the last month. Abby will officially be 9 months old on the 15th. She's sitting up really well now and desperately trying to crawl. She'll always get over on her tummy and "swim", unsuccessfully for now! Noah crawls circles around her saying, "Crawl like this, Abby!" He's definitely taking the big brother role pretty seriously. The other day, I told him to get out a toy for Abby, and this is what he did:

Every single baby toy we have was pulled out of the baskets for Abby to play with! Noah's pretty tender with her. They're going to be great friends one day!

Abby's getting big! She's very happy most of the time. She has two teeth that are just about to erupt through her gums. I blame all her fussy times on this! These will be her first teeth, so we're excited for them! I always think babies with teeth are so cute!

She still has the most beautiful blue eyes. And her hair's much "fluffier" than Noah's ever was. I've been sticking little bows in it recently which even Luke finds amusing.

Noah's growing, too, of course. He has a lot to say these days! He's enjoying the new "computer" GCAC bought him. It teaches him all kinds of new things. He's already learning his letter sounds. He has so much fun playing the games on it.

He just recently learned that Luke and I had names other than Mommy and Daddy. Now he'll say, "Mommy's name is Sarah, and Daddy's name is Luke." This morning he looked at me and said, "What's Noah's name?" I tried to explain it in a way that made sense to him, but he seemed to disagree with me. He decided his name was "Big Boy". Now he walks around saying, "Noah's name is Big Boy."

A friend of mine had an Easter egg hunt for the kids today. This was Noah's first, but he caught on pretty quickly once he realized there was candy in the eggs!
