Christmas 2011
Christmas was especially sweet this year for our family. For the first time, we celebrated the entire season of Advent. We had purchased the Advent family devotional Jotham's Journey last year, but it was a little too soon for the kids. But this year, they did great! We substituted this devotional for our regular family devotion time. The kids were WAY excited about lighting candles every night!
It helped remind the kids (and us!) why we celebrate Christmas every evening. We're looking forward to Bartholomew's Passage (the sequel) next season!
We spent the week surrounding Christmas in Missouri which is always fun. We saw LOTS of family! And squeezed in as many traditional activities in between that we could!
